Jour 3

JOUR 3 : lundi 23 mars

Deuxième journée à Paris :

- le matin dès 8h, nous prenons le RER direction Massy- Palaiseau où nous avons rendez-vous à l'école Polytechnique. Présentation de l'école et visite du laboratoire Luli comme : "laboratoire d'utilisation du laser intense". C'est le laser le plus puissant du monde ! Des chercheurs s'en servent pour tester les propriétés des matériaux à très haute température. Interviews de deux élèves indiens qui ont choisi de devenir polytechniciens.

- retour à Paris et pic-nic;

- Visite historique de la Sorbonne, puis de la grande bibliothèque de la Sorbonne avec ses millions de livres, parmi lesquels certains sont très rares et anciens. 

- Les plus courageux d'entre nous participent à une table ronde passionnante à l'université "Paris I Panthéon" avec une directrice de master et une directrice pédagogique à propos des parcours universitaires possibles.

Arrivée à l'Ecole polytechnique

   8 o'clock in the morning, we took the RER (city train) direction to Massy-Palaiseau south of Paris, where we had an appointment with the Polytechnic School. We visited the laboratory Luli, which means « Laboratory Utilisation of an Intense Laser ». That laser is the most powerful in the world !!! There are some scientists who use this laser to test the properties of materials with a high temperature.

Then we went back to Paris, and we had a small pic- nic.

Later on we visited the historical place of the Sorbonne, and its big library with its millions of books. Among them, some are extremely rare and ancient too !!!

The most courageous among us participated at a meeting in the university of Paris 1 Pantheon with a master Directrice and a pedagogical Directrice. We talked about the various university courses.
